Aesop's Fables is a collection of fables credited to the legendary ancient Greek poet-fabulist Aesop. Aesop’s original work has not been preserved, and the texts that have come down to us were rewritten by Phaedra, Babria and Aviana. His works were translated into a lot of languages. Among the translators of these fables there was a Russian fabulist I. A. Krylov.
