Red Dragon is a novel of the American writer Thomas Harris, published in 1981. This is the first volume in the series about Hannibal Lecter, a forensic psychiatrist and serial killer. Doctor Lecter is already put in a mental health clinic, but soon the one who caught him asks for his help. A frightful maniac calling himself Red Dragon appears in the city. Lecter wants to prove that he is much smarter and therefore agrees to help.
