The Fellowship of the Ring is a novel by the English author John Ronald Reuel Tolkien, published in 1954. This is the first part of The Lord of the Rings trilogy of novels. Frodo, a nephew of Bilbo Baggins, has to destroy One Ring the existence of which endangers the life of the whole Middle-earth. In order to do that the hobbit has to go toward Orodruin.
