Peter Gromov managed to rationally dispose of the inheritance, becoming a prominent Siberian businessman. Peter's son, Prokhor, multiplied his father's fortune, reaching the very heights of wealth and power. But the criminally obtained money, the foundation of the Gromov family, became Prokhor's curse.
