"The Silent Space" is a short story by Stefan Grabinski, published in 1920. It tells the story of a group of explorers who are searching for a secret underground territory. They come across a mysterious place that seems both alive and dead, where sounds are absorbed by some silent force. They try to find a way out, but the entrance through which they arrived leads to an unknown destination, and they are convinced that they are forever trapped in the silent space.
