«Pan Tadeusz» in Polish with a Parallel Translation

This epic poem depicts the life of a noble family in Lithuania. The plot unfolds in 1811, when the main character, Thaddeus Soplica, returns home after a long absence. He is confronted with romantic love and family intrigues in a Lithuania divided between Russia and Prussia.
