"False Alarm" is a novella by Stefan Grabinski, written in 1929. The novella tells the story of a young man who lives in a town constantly plagued by a thick and eerie fog. With the sudden wail of a siren, he sets out in search of the station that sent out the alarm. However, when he discovers the true cause of the alarm, his life will never be the same.
