A Little Sun in Cold Water is a 1969 novel by Françoise Sagan. The main character of the book, the journalist Gilles Lantier, lost interest to life. He is sunk in depression, his work and hobbies do not satisfy him, and the beloved woman has become a burden on him. The doctor recommends Lantier to change the environment. The character goes to his sister's house for a visit, where he finds a medicine capable of bringing back his joy and willingness to create.
