
Son Excellence Eugène Rougon is a novel by the French writer Émile Zola, published in 1876. The novel is part of the Rougon-Macquart series comprised of 20 books. This novel is the sixth in the series, but it is recommended to read it as the second one. The main character is Eugène Rougon, the son of Pierre Rougon. He leaves the town of Plassans for Paris and becomes an associate of Napoleon III.
