White Fang is a novel by the American author Jack London and the name of the book's eponymous character. The book was first serialized in Outing magazine in 1906. The story details wild wolfhound's journey to domestication in Canada during the Klondike Gold Rush in the late 19th century. Much of the novel is written from the viewpoint of the canine character, enabling London to explore how animals view their world and how they view humans. White Fang examines the violent world of wild animals and the equally violent world of humans.
