«Theatre» in English with a Parallel Translation

Theatre is a novel by the English writer Somerset Maugham, published in 1937. The plot develops around the successful actress Julia Lambert who has got everything: glory, a rich husband, a fantastic son. But she begins to realize that such a life annoys her and she is no longer attracted by her husband; that is why Julia gets involved into a new love affair. What will it bring to her, this hectic romance capable of destroying not only the family but her image too?
