"The Iron Heel" is a dystopian novel by Jack London, published in 1908. The text presents a fictional autobiography of Avis Cunningham, an American revolutionary of the 20th century. Avis meets the socialist Ernest Everhard, is carried away by his views and understands all the injustice of this world. According to the plot, the work of Avis is found only in the XXVII century, when the era of the Brotherhood of Man began on Earth.
