«The Finger of Fate» in English with a Parallel Translation

“The Finger of Fate” is one of the least well-known novels by the English writer Mayne Reid, published in 1872. The main characters are two brothers - Nigel and Henry, who were born from different mothers. At the beginning of the novel, one of the brothers was injured while beating a dog, which affected the further plot. Throughout the book, the brothers will have to overcome many difficulties on the way to a successful ending.
