Cup of Gold is the first novel by the Nobel Prize winner John Steinbeck, published in 1929. The book's main character is the real pirate, Henry Morgan. This novel is the biography of the pirate who deserted the shores of Cuba in the 1670s. Morgan took away the Cup of Gold (the name of Panama of the time) from Spain.
