Frau Sorge is the first of Hermann Sudermann's novels, published in 1887. It is the story of a boy who could not find his place in life. As the middle son in the family, he had none of the ambition of his brothers. Frau Sorge occupies a certain place in his fate with her gloomy image promising a hard life.
